What was it like growing up in Merz Apothecary?
Hah, It was really cool for us. My parents were always so busy that we got to really explore and do some things we shouldn’t do. We would discover the books from the 1800’s with formulas so it was kind of like having a Harry Potter dungeon. We felt like we had a secret place that no one else was able to experience.Will the beard be making a comeback soon?

Life:Curated proprietors Sarah Meyer and Ryan Thomann both grew up in the Midwest and even attended the same college together in Georgia, but didn’t actually meet until they both found themselves living in Brooklyn. After quickly realizing they had similar taste in just about everything, the two decided to open a boutique in Williamsburg, and in 2010 Life:Curated opened on Grand Street, in an area that was decidedly not a shopping district.

Last month I found myself back to the Windy City, and it definitely lived up to its name. I traded one snowy tundra for another, but the one thing I gained was that Midwestern sunny disposition. Despite their smiles, Chicagoans as a whole are 100% completely over this winter. Which is a mentality, we New Yorkers, gladly share. I will say that even though those -30 nights cut like a knife, the city and our accounts, welcomed me with open arms. No matter where I was - Barneys, Bloomingdale’s, Haberdash, Smith & Davis, and MildBlend
